Job Description
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist Interaction Designers/Information Architects with user interface layout and design components/widgets
• Collaborate with Interaction Designers/Information Architects, business owners, developers, and graphic designers to establish test and research strategies for projects
• Select and schedule test and research participants
• Facilitate user testing and research
• Analyze testing and research data, report results, and propose IA/design changes
• Assist with defining and evolving standard protocol, tools, techniques, and documentation/reporting templates for testing
• Perform expert reviews of systems, as appropriate
• Educate business owners, developers, and others on the importance of usability and user-centered design (UCD), as appropriate
Qualifications
A solid understanding of user-centered design, usability testing, and user interface analysis is a must. Familiar with ADA compliance (WCAG 2.0 level AA), PeopleSoft application and agile development is preferred.
