The new Analytics Center of Excellence (Analytics COE) harnesses our global healthcare insights, working closely with our clinical and therapeutic experts to power evidence-driven design, speed site activation and recruit the right patients, faster. This is a new unit within our business, integrated within Clinical Operations. We’re using big data and advanced analytics to derive insights that transform clinical development and bring new medicines to patients faster through successful trial delivery.

Job Description

Country Analyst / Consultant – the role

This role presents new opportunities to interrogate data in new ways – dealing with larger than ever datasets, you will be involved in trials valued in the millions. With a great deal of autonomy, you will be dealing with differing methodologies and then ensuring that project deliverables are aligned and consistent. You will be focused on providing high quality input to client projects and the successful delivery of assignments. As a result, although it is not a ‘project management’ role, it does require these skills – and where necessary training will be provided.

Qualifications

Your typical activities might include:

  • Member of project team ensuring efficient and effective project delivery to meet project team and client expectations.
  • Gathering local expertise, for example from relevant hospitals and then feeding insights back to the business.
  • Predicting which sites will do well in future, thus saving time and benefitting clients who will gain faster access to drugs.
  • Performing quantitative or qualitative analysis, extracting data from multiple databases and performing further data interrogation.
  • Developing presentations that are appropriate to the needs of the audience.
  • Remaining current on industry, client and competitive trends through the delivery of analytic studies and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities.

Qualification:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or other related field.

· A combination of analytics and consulting experience within the healthcare industry.

· A demonstrated understanding of project, time and data management, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

· Experience in client-facing situations, with a mix of entrepreneurial, analytical and problem solving skills.

· Local language skills to an advanced level (spoken and written); strong business/scientific written.

· Fluency in English (spoken and written); strong business/scientific written.
