Job Description

Principal Responsibilities
 Contribute to the design, execution and reporting of epidemiological studies
 Lead or contribute to the writing of study protocols, statistical analysis plans and study reports
 Guide clients through the methodological design and analysis aspects of observational studies
 Contribute to business development activities (i.e. proposal development and client relationship building)
 Develop and prepare abstracts, manuscripts and/or presentations to conferences for projects
 Contribute to improving operational efficiencies of workflows, including writing of internal guidance documents, including SOPs and quality management documents

Qualifications

Requirements
 MPH, MSc, PhD or an equivalent degree in epidemiology, public health or a related discipline
 Post-graduate work experience in a research environment
 Experience designing and executing prospective or retrospective epidemiological studies, especially database analyses
 Desire to work in a wide variety of projects in real-world evidence (e.g. designing studies, identifying new sources of data, and conducting literature reviews)
 Commitment to working collaboratively and effectively with people of other disciplines to accomplish goals
 Good time management skills and programme acumen, to contribute to multiple projects with competing timelines
 Strong written and verbal communication skills (including presentation and PowerPoint skills)
 Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualities
 Exposure to working with large epidemiological data, preferably healthcare databases
 Excellent communication skills
 Prior experience working in a consultancy, CRO or other service sector in the healthcare industry
 Publications in peer reviewed journals and/or abstracts in scientific conferences
