We're looking for a highly motivated, proactive and detail-oriented Intern in Purchases & Accounting to join our team at a dynamic startup on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine 📈 

• Be a key player in the purchasing and financial controlling process
• Prepare budgets, purchase orders and record all financial movements
• Verify and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Perform account reconciliations and identify any discrepancies as needed
• Support with monthly closing procedures.
• Help develop and implement strategies that drive growth within the purchasing and financial controlling process
• Learn how to work with cross-functional teams
• Be mentored by experienced professionals in the field
• Contribute to other team tasks and projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.

The Internship provides the candidate with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various scientific areas. The intern selected will have the opportunity to learn about our AI and photonic-based technology, and participate in a range of different tasks related to company management in areas of Finance and Controlling within the Strategy & Operations cluster

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on business, finance, accointing or engineering
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and grow in a fast-paced, startup environment.
