We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented laboratory assistant to join our team. As a laboratory assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts. Your responsibilities will include conducting laboratory procedures, performing experiments, analyzing data, maintaining equipment, and managing inventory of reagents and samples. The role requires processing biological samples including blood-derived biofluids and managing the internal sample biobank. We are seeking an individual with excellent technical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to ensuring the quality of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and adhere established protocols and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and reagents for daily use.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from experiments to support research and development.
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and reagents to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including experiment procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, optimize laboratory processes, and plan activities.
• Adhere to recommended safety practices and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the preparation of protocols, reports, and presentations.
• Effectively communicate experimental results

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related area.
• Previous laboratory experience.
• Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment, instruments, and software applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluent in English with effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and present findings.
• High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
• Strong computer skills
• Team player with the ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary and dynamic team.
