About your Role 📰   /    What will you be doing? 👀

• Join our growing team to advance, innovate and validate our world-class optomics platform.
• Develop data science pipelines and capabilities aligned with the corporate goals and strategy
• Provide strategic guidance and direction for data analysis efforts
• Be responsible for critical scientific projects and help resolve key technical issues.
• Provide expertise within the field of Data Science and data product development
• Collaborate across teams to implement new AI/ML models and develop our fiber-based photonics technology.
• Design, plan and analyze experiments for innovation and product rollout.
• Work to assure our product hits the highest performance and quality standards.
• Deliver milestones within project timelines.
• Be part of a cross-functional, highly skilled, motivated team, contributing to bring the company to the next level.
• Assist in the validation of functional requirements and value generation for customers, acting as a liaison between the customer and the business, and helping deliver the technology to market.
   

• PhD or MSc. in Computational Physics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science or equivalent degree 
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data science and artificial intelligence applied to biological systems, preferably at a senior level.
• Track record of analysis and development of various data science methods: Machine learning, Deep learning, Computational science 
• Experience with Data Engineering or Cloud Computing is a plus
• Experience in applying statistical methods in medical or biological research
• Strong theoretical and experimental skills in designing experiments to increase the explainability of AI models applied to biosignal applications
• Ability to lead by example, not be afraid to take risks, and go beyond what’s expected.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in an agile and rapidly changing environment with high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, solid experience communicating with senior stakeholders, and functioning as an intermediate between business interests and data science discipline.
• Strong analytical mind and an interest in modern statistical and data analysis methods, for example, machine learning.
• Track record of skills in leadership/managerial, scientific excellence, critical and proactive thinking, problem-solving skills, and multitasking
• Solution-oriented, and when issues arise, be able to roll up sleeves and tackle them with a ‘get it done’ attitude
• Team player with a clear focus on taking the performance of teams to the next level and capable of integrating a multidisciplinary and dynamic team
• Fluent in English, with strong writing and communication skills.
