About your Role 📰   /    What will you be doing? 👀

·       You will own the full product life cycle (from ideation to EOL) of one of our product lines, define product strategy and key milestones and communicate this to all stakeholders.

·       Identify and explore product opportunities for iLoF platform considering market opportunity, customer needs, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.

·       Establish product specifications based on a strong understanding of customer requirements and foundational science.

·       Assess competitive landscape and wider markets to ensure commercial alignment, establish potential points of distinctive competence and identify relevant trends for future product innovation.

·       Drive a strong product-focused culture at iLoF, including engaging with internal teams to ensure development processes are in alignment with product specifications.

·       Create and execute strategies for product validation through to product launch and continue market-driven innovation post-launch as required.

·       Communicate effectively across photonics, AI, software and biology teams.

·       Manage relationships with collaborators and customers receiving iLoF’s products, and use collaborator/ customer feedback to iteratively improve products.

Requirements ✔️

·       Minimum of an M.S. Degree in a life sciences field, PhD preferred

·       More than 3 years of experience in the biotech/medtech industry, assay development a plus

·       More than two years of product management experience

·       Start-up or work experience in a consulting firm is a big plus

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions or taking initiative and ownership of key workstreams

·       Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategy, roadmaps, and vision to a range of audiences

·       Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial, communication, and presentation skills

·       Ability to gain consensus among cross-functional teams and build positive working

Additional Skills: 

·       Demonstrated ability to translate strategic conversations and initiatives to tangible deliverables

·       Experience working in either clinical, diagnostic or research setting

·       Experience working in international markets

·       Knowledge of optics, spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR or other type of scattering-based techniques is a plus.
