• Perform several laboratory processes according to procedures, focusing on biological samples preparation, analysis, and biobanking maintenance.

• Ability to interpret and follow written protocols

• Apply basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, such as basic pipetting, medium and sample preparation, dilution techniques, and others

• Knowing and following recommendations for safe laboratory practices

• Support to Research and Development

• General laboratory maintenance

• Work with supervisors and team members for planning laboratory activities

• Contribute and document protocols and technical reports

• Effectively communicate experimental results

• Scientific background, preferably but not mandatory, with bachelor or master degree in biology, biomedical engineering or related scientific areas

• Previous laboratorial experience 

• High level of motivation, be enthusiastic and determined

• Be self-organized and capable of multitasking. 

• Competence with MS Office

• Ability to identify issues, seek solutions and work independently while contributing to the team goals

• Team player and capable of integrating a multidisciplinary and dynamic team

• Fluent in English, with good writing and communication skills.
