ABOUT ILEAN

iLean was founded over 15 years ago out of the passion for changing the world of work.
They wanted to bring more effectiveness and humanity into teams through trainers and coaches, and initially did this by working on Agile product development and project management with their customers. Often within IT departments and IT teams, but also outside IT. The mindset and organizational competence development that comes with it soon became their passion and focus, in addition to working with the teams themselves.

Over the years, iLean has grown to include ten experienced coaches, consultants and trainers who support companies of all sizes in their development processes towards more agile organizational competences, agile teams, agile product development, etc.
In addition, iLean also developed a state-of-the-art acceleration programme for the development of organisational competencies for (agile) team coaches.

iLean is part of the Cronos Group. Our office is located in the centre of Mechelen, opposite the railway station.

Job Description

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In your role as Agile (Team) Coach, you ensure that Agile change becomes tangible at the team and organisational level. Your role is primarily to coach an organisation on acquiring the necessary learning capabilities. In addition, organizational change requires the support of top management and is accompanied by a cultural shift. Supporting and coaching management during this change is, therefore, part of your job.  

You will do this by:

  • Coaching teams and team leads in the development of their agile competences
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Giving training
  • Coaching and supporting management
  • Development of learning and coaching materials
  • Building expertise on business Agility, Agile leadership, …

Depending on your personal development and ambition, there is room to contribute to the commercial and organisational development of iLean.

Qualifications

WHO ARE YOU?

You are an inspired expert in the field of Agile coaching, team coaching, Agile teams, Agile mindset and you prove your vision on this with the right knowledge and/or experience.

In other words, you have substantive knowledge in the field of Agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile, team coaching, leadership, change management. In addition, your broad substantive interest makes you want to delve deeper into this field in order to expand your knowledge.

Ideally, you therefore have the following skills:

  • You fit in Lencioni's "Humble, Smart, Hungry"- criteria of a team player.  
  • You're an approachable and open-minded colleague. Continuous improvement is a two-way street!  
  • You score high on the mysterious iLean factor, which we cannot describe ourselves.  
  • Being a good decision maker is equally essential. Decide on something, make sure that the team can apply it, and follow through. Make it happen!  
  • Working together and knowledge sharing is an everyday reality. Ideas are not only listened to. They are co-created, evolve, and put into practice.  
  • You are a good communicator, and you like working in a team, on team dynamics.  
  • A healthy dose of humor is essential, even if it is terrible.  
  • You have a good knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Scaled frameworks.  
  • You are an experienced Agile (team) coach.  
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a big plus.
