Are you a Technical Product Owner who has hardcore technical and software delivery skills?! If this gets you excited and you are up for the challenge, then we want to hear from you!
So, what will you do?
Responsible for creating and enabling environment to drive performance and employee engagement across the respective divisions.
This is achieved by partnering with management and employees to define and implement relevant and appropriate plans to improve individual, team and business effectiveness.
You will report to the CTO and work closely with the Technical Architects.
The deal breakers:
- 5 years’ experience in a Technical Product Owner / Software Delivery Manager role or equivalent role.
- 5 years’ experience in managing direct reports.
- Strong Project Management experience.
- Strong experience with Microservices.
- Strong experience with major refactoring of live code and major migrations / re-architecting of critical high-availability back-end systems.
- Experience in the financial services and/or payments industry (advantageous).
What would you be responsible for?
- Plan, prioritise and deliver achievable projects against vision and strategy.
- Responsible for defining the work of engineers and designers in delivering a technology product.
- Identify opportunities for continuous product improvement.
- Able to clearly define and communicate project goals, requirements, and constraints across cross functional teams in the business.
- Participate in regular Scrum ceremonies.
- Owns and is responsible for the creation, management, and prioritisation of the Product Backlog, in close cooperation with stakeholders.
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria for all backlog items.
- Ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent and shows what the Scrum team/s will work on next.
- Accepting the delivered product increment at the end of each iteration.
- Managing the release plan with scrum team/s.
- Support and collaborate with the product UX/UI team, product scrum team/s and product leaders on a day-to-day basis.
- Identification of constraints and dependencies in cooperation with the Scrum Master and proposal for resolution and improvement.
- Assist in troubleshooting application issues and collaborate with the scrum team/s to have issues resolved.
Qualifications
- A related tertiary education qualification would be advantageous.
