To manage and support colleagues under your responsibility in the goods flow team in order to coordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process in the store at the lowest possible costs.
Influence and lead the goods flow team in order to contribute to the highest stock availability for custom-ers at the lowest possible cost every day by ensuring the store goods flow process is executed correctly.
Contribute with relevant goods flow input and feedback to the store business plan and logistics action plan.
Influence positively the quality of products, merchandising and customer shopping experience in the store.
Secure that the work of the goods flow team complies with the IKEA code of conduct, internal IKEA regula-tions and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and environment.
Ensure efficient daily goods flow operations in the role's area of responsibility according to the Global Ser-vice Protocol. This includes the counting process, ready-by-opening and minimising wait times at merchan-dise pick up.
Support the goods flow team managers to identify, retain and develop the many talents in the goods flow team to secure future succession. Strive to create teams that are competent and can execute the assigned responsibilities with confidence. Support goods flow co-workers competence development by sharing own knowledge of effective and efficient goods flow processes.
Specialised in retail space management, you have strong passion in retail Supply Chain and operational excellence in order to contribute to the Retail Logistics business within your area of responsibility.
You are analytical, able to make objective decisions based on monitoring and reviewing of the in-store Lo-gistics system and other available information. You have proven ability to work on a tactical and operation-al level, and get things done.
Strong in interpersonal skills, you are able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with cross-departmental colleagues. MS Office proficiency and communication skills are a must.
Experience in retail, goods flow and supply chain will be highly preferable.
