Job Description

  • Support, maintain and improve service processes, e.g. processes aimed at ensuring end-user satisfaction and on-time delivery.
  • Adhere to existing ITIL processes and best practices and contribute to the development of new processes.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendors to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of the contract.
  • Support employee onboarding and exit processes across OpCos.
  • Support development and maintenance of Standard Operating Documents for all IT units.
  • Support and track procurement requests for the IT Global Services team.
  • Own and support IT hardware assets (SIMs, phones, laptops, etc) management that involves issuance/ retrieval, storage, tracking and disposal.
  • Own and support IT software assets (Windows image, OS, licences, etc) management that involves issuance/ retrieval, storage, and expiry date/ renewal tracking.
  • Verify and ensure all assets and CMDB are uploaded/ registered on the ITSM application/ platform.
  • Ensure an up-to-date inventory of all ITSM documents and records are maintained on the intranet portal and kept up-to-date.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of IT hardware inventory and asset owners/ users that are tracked and reported throughout the asset lifecycle to ensure safe keep, availability to support end-user productivity/ continued business operations, and secure disposal in line with organizational and regulatory policies.
  • Manage asset stock levels and/ or monitor thresholds for all IT assets, ensuring current and future availability to meet business demands.
  • Systematically analyze inventory data and communicate findings to the Manager, Asset & Service Level to guide purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure that all hardware delivered is properly checked, in line with the purchase order (PO) requirement, and updated in the Assets Register while software assets are also tracked and updated in the Service Catalogue.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager, Asset & Service Level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Relevant professional certifications, e.g. ITIL Foundation, CompTIA (A+) and/ or Microsoft MCSA, will be an asset.
  • Microsoft MSDT level or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years’ relevant experience
