Job Description
Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of key FP&A reporting outputs, including the Operational Dashboard (monthly), Roadmap (quarterly), and Investor reporting. The role ensures a single source of truth, accuracy in financial outputs, and timely delivery aligned to reporting cycles.
1. Operational Dashboard – Monthly Delivery
- Own the preparation and publication of the monthly Operating Dashboard immediately after actuals are finalized.
- Ensure the dashboard serves as the single source of truth for external reporting.
- Maintain and manage dashboards within the central repository:
- Produce and manage three distinct versions each month:
- Reported
- Proforma
- Actuals
- Maintain data integrity, consistency, and mapping accuracy across all versions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to refine and streamline dashboard content where required.
2. Roadmap – Quarterly
- Update the financial roadmap model on a quarterly basis.
- Ensure alignment with the Operational Dashboard baseline
- Support quarterly refresh cycles
- Ensure backups and track changes across roadmap versions.
3. External Reporting
- Deliver monthly investor financials aligned with the financial call deck cycle.
- Ensure timely uploads and access management in reporting platforms
- Support quarterly reporting requirements, including:
- Growth metrics
- Financial KPIs and templates
- Updates to structured reporting templates (e.g., Income Statement reporting sections)
- Coordinate and prepare bi-annual exceptionals reporting with relevant stakeholders.
- Support annual budget submission for external investors.
- Maintain consistency and alignment across all investor reporting outputs and templates.
4. Data Governance & Process Ownership
- Act as custodian of reporting structures, file locations, and naming conventions.
- Ensure robust version control, backup processes, and audit trails.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency, automation, and usability.
- Collaborate with Finance, Systems, and Reporting teams to resolve data issues and improve reliability.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with:
- FP&A leadership
- Reporting owners (e.g., dashboard, roadmap, investor reporting)
- Finance system owners
- Ensure alignment on timelines, outputs, and data definitions.
- Proactively highlight risks, gaps, and inconsistencies.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) preferred
Experience
- 5–8+ years in FP&A, financial reporting, or business finance
- Experience in:
- Management reporting cycles (monthly/quarterly)
- Financial modelling and forecasting
- Investor or external reporting (desirable)
- Experience working in multi-entity / multi-currency environments highly preferred
