In this pivotal role, you’ll be a trusted application solution partner to customers and prospects with focus on Energy & Utilities, working side‑by‑side to understand their processes and explain and anchor solutions that move the needle.
You’ll bring IFS Cloud to life—connecting ERP, EAM, and FSM—so organizations can transform and thrive with embedded ai and modern best practices. Your insights will be valued, and your grit will help turn possibilities into outcomes.

Presales at IFS is a journey. You’ll be a storyteller, strategist, and mentor—building relationships that last—while stepping into an emerging Team Lead opportunity. You’ll coach a small group of presales colleagues, coordinate priorities, uphold quality—gaining hands‑on leadership experience while staying close to customers and the tech.

What you’ll do

  • Co‑create value‑led solution strategies with Sales.
  • Lead compelling demos, workshops, and PoCs that make complex ideas simple.
  • Translate Energy & Utilities processes (asset lifecycle, field operations, grid & service) into pragmatic solution designs.
  • Champion industrial AI use cases and share best practices with customers and the team.
  • Coach peers, nurture craft excellence, and help evolve our presales playbook.

What you’ll bring

  • A solid understanding of Energy & Utilities or Transportation business processes and IT applications.
  • Background in IT, Sales, Consulting, or similar roles—or simply a strong passion for communicating ideas and influencing decisions. You don’t need presales experience; what matters is your ability to articulate value, inspire confidence, and help customers see the possibilities in our solutions.
  • Curiosity for AI and enthusiasm to learn—and to help others learn—our application portfolio and intelligent capabilities.
  • Motivation to take on people responsibilities as a first‑time leader, while remaining hands‑on as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in enterprise software and solution architecture—or a consulting background with a passion for shaping solutions.
  • Deep understanding of business processes in Energy, Utilities, Transportation or other asset‑intensive industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A selling mindset combined with curiosity and creativity to solve real‑world challenges.
  • Native proficiency in Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian to connect authentically with customers.
