About the role:

The HR Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the HR function. This role will leverage data, systems, and process expertise to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across core HR processes, with a strong emphasis on execution, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Role Description

          HR Systems & Data Management

  • Ensure integrity of HR data in the HRIS (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, etc.) by auditing, maintaining, and updating employee records.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support business needs across HR, Finance, and leadership teams.

    Process Optimization & Compliance
     
  • Document and improve existing HR processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.
  • Maintain process documentation (SOPs, workflows, job aids) and ensure alignment with policies and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to support SOX and other audit readiness efforts.

    Compensation & People Analytics
     
  • Assist with compensation cycle administration, data preparation, audits, and analysis.
  • Support HR and Total Rewards leadership in analyzing trends across headcount, turnover, compensation, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to ensure alignment of people data with financial forecasting.

    Employee Lifecycle Support
     
  • Partner with Talent, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
  • Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) for request resolution and identify root causes for delays or inconsistencies.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
     
  • HRIS data accuracy (% of records audited with zero errors)
  • SLA adherence on employee lifecycle processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding)
  • Completion of process documentation and updates (% completed quarterly)
  • Delivery of scheduled reports and dashboards on time and error-free
  • Reduction in manual touchpoints in HR processes (% of automation implemented)
  • Audit readiness metrics (e.g., SOX compliance checkpoints completed)

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management; Human Resources is preferred
  • Any HR chartered qualification is preferred (CIPM or equivalent)
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR Operations, People Analytics, or HR Systems
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and HRIS systems (Dayforce, Workday, or similar)
  • Experience building reports and dashboards (e.g., using Power BI, Tableau, Dayforce Insights, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and process orientation
  • Ability to work with sensitive data and maintain confidentiality
  • Working on US shift hours (Eastern)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or tech environment
  • Familiarity with Jira or ticketing systems for HR request management
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment regulations and HR compliance
