Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for the execution of test plans based on business requirements to ensure quality delivery of client implementations. This individual will work in a diverse and dynamic environment with a team of quality analysts, developers, business analysts, project managers, client service analysts, and end customers. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, along with experience in Quality Assurance processes and methodologies. The candidate must be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced team driven environment, and have the ability to communicate well with cross functional teams. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform testing in an efficient and timely manner
  • Execute test cases as per the defined test plan
  • Efficiently and accurately record issues discovered in testing and communicate them out to be resolved
  • Meet aggressive deadlines for test completion
  • Be able to handle workload from multiple, simultaneous test cycles
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with business partners, technical teams, client services, project managers and management
  • Work with Project Managers and Client Services Analysts on software implementations and issue resolutions
  • Other duties as assigned Recommend best practices, answer questions regarding feasibility issues, and serve as a subject matter expert on mapping and templating to support Client Services, Professional Services, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing.
  • Function as the "go-to" person for more complex and/or client-sensitive mapping/templating projects and issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and tools within the Application Support team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment is ideal.
  • Proven ability to execute test cases in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in working closely with technical and project management teams to develop and execute test plans.
  • Ability to test Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of system testing metrics and reporting.
  • Experience with scripting and/or development is a plus.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL scripts is a plus.
  • Ability to perform automated testing is a plus.
