About the Job
Sitecore is expanding our global Procurement function, and as a Global Procurement Operations Analyst on our Global Procurement Operations team, you’ll be assisting in the maintenance and evolution of Sitecore’s global procurement process framework. You will work on or lead projects such as integrating new acquisitions into our systems and processes or integrating suppliers into our ERP.
Supporting the Procurement Sourcing Managers, you’ll have the support to ensure that our employees and suppliers have clear directions and expectations on how to operate and ensure that we adhere to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations. The procurement team believe in a supportive, trusting, open and self-driven environment where everyone is welcome to contribute to challenge and improve the status quo. The team designed, planned, built and successfully rolled out an in-house procurement automated system leveraging Microsoft tools. We believe in innovation because we are innovators. Essentials to the Role
The ability to work independently will be required for this position. The Sourcing team is based out of the Unite States and will not be available for part of the day. The role therefore requires a self-starter that is able and enjoy working independently. Being comfortable processing, analyzing and presenting data. Attention to details minimizing reporting errors.
The procurement team members are Strategic Business Partners. The ability to build and foster business relationships is important, and a customer service mentality is needed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Being comfortable communicating with and supporting internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Ability to assess and analyze business processes and suggest improvements. Ability to operate within a global business environment. Proactive and motivated to improve processes and to contribute to a growing and evolving team.
Sourcing experience will be needed in this role including renewals, quoting and supporting sourcing managers in active purchasing events like RFPs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide front line support for Procurement, enforcing processes and procedures
- Enforce the Procurement Policy by monitoring transactions through our Procurement tool and other financial systems and reporting.
- Assist in the maintenance of financial systems in relation to the P2P process including system configurations, testing, data cleansing, upgrades and maintenance.
- Provide financial systems reports on a regular cadence as requested by sourcing and business teams. This includes pulling, analyzing data and creating reports.
- Manage procurement system ticket transactions including change orders, requisition revisions, & requisition approvals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement best practices and standards and ensure Sitecore is a leader in procurement practices.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested
- Expected to lead and support sourcing events like renewals and quoting.
- Comfortable becoming proficient in using new applications. Coupa, Navan Travel, and Microsoft applications such as Form and List will be needed.
- Willingness to consistently learn, improve and take on more responsibilities
- Willingness to “role up sleeves” to support urgent projects
Qualifications
Skills that will help ensure you can be successful in this role
- Systems Skillset- Proficiency in excel is a must, previous experience or exposure to ERP systems is preferred. Experience in Business Spend Management Systems/Procurement systems is preferred, especially Coupa which is the current incumbent system of record. Microsoft Form, Microsoft List and Microsoft power automate experience are a plus.
- Procurement Knowledge - You have knowledge and foundation in ERP systems, procurement tools, compliance, financial controls, sourcing and associated policies. You have experience working with both internal stakeholders and external (Suppliers/ Partners). Experience supporting RFP is a plus. The ability to pull data, create reports and help put together presentations will be needed.
- Strong Execution Discipline – You’re a “roll up the sleeves” team contributor that’s willing to do what it takes to meet your deadlines and commitments. This includes staying current of emerging issues and identifying and prioritizing risks. Being hands-on to drive the implementation and execution of business programs and controls.
- Data Driven Decision Making - Ability to compile objective data, analyze and confidently deriving to a conclusion that can result in recommendations to the business.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years Procurement related experience
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Microsoft Form, Microsoft List and Microsoft power automate experience are a plus.
- Coupa experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail
- Experience within the Procure2Pay process, Spend Analytics and Supplier Management is a plus
