Job Description

Introduction

You will join a team of talented developers and quality engineers who work collaboratively with product managers and UX designers to make our application the most user-friendly content marketing tool on the market.

Our team is responsible for the front-end of the application, where we offer our customers building blocks that they can use to assemble an application that fits their exact needs.

We have a bi-weekly release cadence, in which we rely heavily on automation to ensure the stability of our application, while we introduce new features or improve the existing ones.

As our QA engineer, your main responsibility will be to help the team improve our test automation and overall QA process. This includes E2E test written in Playwright, API testing using Postman, and performance testing in K6.

Aside from team engagements, you will also interact with other QAs and other stakeholders on the deliverables, any risk or impact to other development teams that could affect release.

Responsibility:

  • Act as active driver for designing, developing and maintaining automation test cases for ensuring high quality in Sitecore technical delivery.
  • Act as active driver for executing testing activities according to Sitecore processes.
  • Actively replacing manual testing with test automation based on test principles.
  • Maintain close collaboration and effective communication with the Technical Manager, Product Owner, team members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

General Requirement:

  • 4 or more years of software quality assurance experience.

Hard skills:

Required skills:

  • Advanced knowledge in test planning and management of test strategy, test plan and test cases.
  • Advanced experience in implementing test automation with .NET and Typescript.
  • Advanced experience in implementing UI automation using Playwright
  • Advanced experience in implementing Web API tests.

It would be a plus:

  • Advanced knowledge in containerized application testing.
  • Advanced experience in database: E.g. SQL Server or NoSQL DB technology
  • Advanced experience in using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode, Resharper or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge in Azure cloud services.
  • Advanced knowledge in performance and load testing.
  • Advanced experience in Agile and Scrum ceremonies best practices.

Soft skills:

  • Upper intermediate written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to contribute as an effective team player.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for both technical and non-technical challenges.
  • Passionate in continuous learning in the product domain, technology best practices and Agile principles.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
