Job Description

The Head of Strategic Operations will report to the Global Chief Operating Officer and will play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives, managing daily operations and driving organizational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator and a proactive problem solver who can navigate complex challenges and deliver results. 

 

  • Strategic Support – Assist the COO in developing and implementing strategic plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives 

  • Operational Management – Lead and manage key projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic priorities 

  • Communication – Sever as a liaison between the COO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication 

  • Data Analysis – Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for decision making 

  • Meeting Coordination – Prepare agendas, materials and follow up actions for executive meetings 

  • Problem Solving – Identify and address operational challenges, providing innovating solutions 

  • Leadership – Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration 

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you will likely have: 

  • Proven success in a similar role within a global enterprise software organization  

  • Skilled relationship and team builder with the ability to influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; fluent English 

  • Proven project management experience and proficiency in data analysis 

  • Strong management and influencing skills, results oriented, with clear drive and initiative — highly motivated with a determination to succeed 

  • Tertiary education in business, management or a related field or proven success in a similar role previously 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
