Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our fast-growing Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is pivotal in driving financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring accurate and insightful reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong FP&A Reporting background while also excelling in the preparation of data packs and presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse Total Contract Value (TCV), Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and Annual Contract Value (ACV) to provide insights into underlying growth drivers
  • Evaluate revenue, costs and cash flow against budget and forecast, identifying variances and collaborating with relevant teams for explanations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data packs that present financial information in a clear and easy to understand way
  • Create visually engaging presentations that "bring the numbers to life" for key stakeholders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Identify improvements in reporting and work with process owners to ensure relevant data is captured
  • Implement process enhancements and leverage technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
  • Proven experience (3 years) in financial planning and analysis
  • Ability to summarise information succinctly & clearly
  • Excellent MS Excel, Power BI & PowerPoint skills
  • Highly analytical with a strategic mindset – ability to identify and understand trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
