Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager/Senior Manager Business Operations to oversee resource teams and optimize our Billtrust operations in Sri Lanka. As Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation and overseeing the utilization of resources, managing operational goals, and fostering strong relationships with counterparts and stakeholders in the Billtrust Operation in US. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities:

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project deadlines and operation objectives.
  • Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess the effectiveness of operations resources and identify areas for improvement.

Operational Oversight:

  • Collaborate with counterparts to ensure timely delivery of services and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Address any operational issues or bottlenecks in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to workflow.

 

Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the overseas counterparts fostering strong relationships based on trust and collaboration.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to source new resources and work with local HR for their onboarding and HR related matters.
  • Work with Finance on resource costing, budgeting, and validating the invoicing.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and objectives for enhance the operations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and industry trends to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance the company's competitive position.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Encourage open communication and feedback to drive performance and employee engagement.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to business operations.

 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and requirements

    Education: bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

    Working Hours: North America time Zone and Sri Lanka time Zone on a roster basis 

     

    Experience and Skills:

    • Minimum 10 -12 years of total experience in the IT filed and with minimum 4-5 years in the management capacity.
    • Experience in project and team management, process optimization, and strategic planning.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
