Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payment Operations Analyst to join the WorkWave team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and managing our day-to-day payment operations, with a focus on ensuring compliance with KYC / AML regulations and mitigating risk. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payment processing workflows, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day payment operations, including KYC procedures and settlement return tracking and collections.
  • Handle bank account changes, MID closures, and ownership changes for low-risk cases.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC / AML regulations and mitigate risks associated with fraudulent activities.
  • Completion of ad hoc reconciliations.
  • Track performance metrics such as KYCs completed and unexpected costs.
  • Populate KPI metrics for weekly and monthly meetings.
  • Perform detailed analysis of payments-related data.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Oversee daily transaction monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize payment processing workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in payment operations or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payment processing tools and software.
  • Advanced experience with Slack, Confluence, JIRA, Excel, Google/MS Suite, Salesforce (or equivalent)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
