An AR Senior Executive at IFS is responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of IFS’s products and services to its customers across all business streams.

The primary role is focused on understanding the nature of billing instructions from the business and ensuring that customers receive invoices that are accurate and legally compliant, therefore removing any barriers for payment.

In addition, the AR Senior Executive is also responsible for supporting our complex MCPR processes under which the time of Project Consultants are billed automatically across entities. Furthermore, this role also includes processing intercompany charges across the group within relevant regulations, intercompany receipt allocation (Netting process), recharges etc.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced MS Excel skills, reporting skills and coordination skills. Further, an understanding of the various local taxation requirements will also be important but will be developed. In addition, an AR Senior Executive at IFS continuously expands their business process domain knowledge and shares this knowledge to guide others.

This job role will entail the following responsibilities:

• Ensure that invoices are prepared and issued to customers accurately and in accordance with local legal and regulatory requirements.

• Co-ordinate with local Finance and Operations teams regarding to ensure that invoice submission requests are completed in accordance with contractual requirements.

• Ensure that appropriate accounting entries are recorded for all invoices raised in accordance with IFRS and IFS policies and processes.

• Understand and apply local tax requirements for VAT/GST/WHT when raising invoices.

• Respond to customer invoice queries to ensure that submitted invoices have been received and accepted for payment processing.

• Investigate and resolve any internal or external enquires related to invoice submissions.

• Provide customer statements of account as required.

• Intercompany reconciliation – this includes the netting procedure and reporting discrepancies.

• Ensure smooth process in MCPR invoicing, cost accounting, and MCPR reconciliations, while also focusing on continuous process improvement to enhance reporting excellence and promptly investigate and resolve any inquiries related to MCPR transactions.

• Performs all activities with an elevated level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Completes all activities in accordance with IFS standard operating procedures.

Education

• University degree, or equivalent professional qualifications, in the accounting and finance field.

Knowledge and Experience 

• Continuously expanding your functional and technical domain knowledge is a very important part of being at IFS.
• Candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in the finance field.

Specific Knowledge

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Excel is mandatory) with background in MS Outlook
• Proficient in using ERP applications.
• Knowledgeable in Internal controls
