Join WorkWave as a Data Services Engineer and become an integral part of our data management team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our data systems and support the operational management of data services.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of database migration and transformation solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Participate in the design and management of ETL processes, using tools like Microsoft SSIS, to aid continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Respond to a variety of data-related requests, providing solutions for database optimization and data access issues.
• Contribute to the team’s growth and development, learning from senior members and exploring opportunities for professional advancement.
• Support incident response related to data systems, contributing to swift resolution and minimal disruption to services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in database development, data migration, and transformation.
• Proficiency in SQL coding and querying, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
• Exposure to ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS.
• Understanding of RDBMS products like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, FoxPro, and Microsoft Access.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Good communication skills, capable of understanding and conveying technical requirements.
• Analytical mindset with a capacity to address challenges in a fast-paced environment.
