Our IFS ESM team is looking for an Android Development Engineer to join their Edinburgh-based team. It is essential that you have working knowledge of Kotlin, Jenkins, Gradle and Intune SDK, combined with demonstrable experience in Mobile application deployment. We are looking for an individual who can provide hands-on technical expertise, guidance, advice, and support for all things related to Intune.

This role is for a duration of 12 months.

• Responsibilities:

  - Engineer, test, and document the process of building our new mobile app

  - Integrate the enterprise mobile applications with Intune

  - Integrate the enterprise mobile applications with our supported Identity management solutions (LDAP, SAML, Keycloak)

  - Deployment of the mobile app

  - Evaluate new software and write structured reports with business recommendations

  - Acting as a Technical lead and mentor to colleagues to share knowledge

  - Work independently in an agile environment

  - Ability to understand and translate business requirements into development

   

  Desirable Skills &Expertise:

  - Working knowledge of native mobile languages (Kotlin) and Android Studio

  - Working knowledge of mobile Java Script frameworks (NativeScript with Angular and Typescript)

  - Experience on iOS development

  - Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Autopilot, Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access

  - Proven ability to design, document and implement a mobile device management platform Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager – Android

  - Proven ability troubleshooting technical issues, finding robust solutions
