In the Demo Platform team, we help people be heroes, which also makes us heroes! We develop the platform and capabilities that presales across the whole IFS ecosystem use to demonstrate the value of IFS Cloud to customers. We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual with a passion for software quality engineering and motivation to improve product quality.

As a Senior/Lead SE-QA you play a vital role in ensuring quality of our solutions where you will closely collaborate with the cross functional teams to ensure quality is built in from the early stages of the development process. You will review functional and non-functional requirements, produce test strategies and plans, build (and coach the team in building) test cases and test automation, debug and trouble shoot issues, report defects and pro-actively suggest improvements to artifacts and processes with limited supervision. Your role is essential for us to deliver a good experience to the users of the demo platform, as well as for achieving our ambition of highly automated testing.

To be effective in this job, you need to be a good communicator, be a fast study (we work across all solution areas, remember), already know or quickly learn the business stuff—you can’t effectively work on ensuring quality of the demo platform unless you have a foundational understanding of what we’re trying to sell. Additionally, you need to have that drive for excellence and commitment for continuous improvement, to always do better for our users.

• University degree
• Excellent knowledge in quality assurance principles, tools and methodologies
• Experience in testing REST API both manual and automation
• Experience in UI automation frameworks
• Ability to work with low-code and/or simple scripting/macro languages
• Experience in continuous integration (CI) and build systems
• Effective teamwork, and the ability to efficiently engage with both technical and non-technical personnel while contributing to activities related to quality
• The ability to work in distributed Global team set up
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing, Software Engineering concepts and Software Development Life Cycle
• Previous experience of IFS Cloud, IFS Applications or other ERP applications is a plus
