Job Description

The Executive - Human Resources supports IFS to run smooth HR operations in employee onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement activities and other day-to-day activities in HR domain. Building relationships with all stakeholders is a key to success in this role and it helps smooth operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the pre-onboarding activities are completed to welcome new employees
  • Welcome new employees on their first day
  • Create contents to be used in engagement activities/induction programmes etc, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Organize and coordinate employee/manager induction programmes to strengthen the employee engagement
  • Responsible to Initiate offboarding process for resign employees together with other relevant stakeholder.
  • Review data in IFSBiz for Sri Lankan employees and take actions to correct data inaccuracies
  • Collaborate with HRSSC and HRIS teams to change employee information in IFSBiz and maintain data quality
  • Create reports, dashboards for HR related information
  • Initiate and drive employee engagement activities
  • Contribute towards continuously improving HR operational processes

Qualifications

  • A degree or a professional qualification in Human Resource Management along with 1+ years’ of working experience in a HR role.
  • Previous working experience in IT industry is an added advantage.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to persuade and influence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently with decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be well organized, and possess good planning skills
