Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Regional Europe North & Central HR Team as the HR Business Partner for Benelux. This role will be based out of our office in Den Bosh and is a part time role (60%) which we are flexible in how the schedule works for you. You will be accountable for delivering a hands-on, operational end-to-end HR service on the full employee lifecycle together with a coordinator.
From supporting in hiring to employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits etc across the business.  Your main area of responsibility will be to our team in Netherlands but also when needed support across Europe.

You will be providing a complete HR service where you will drive best practices, ensuring that process and documentation are being developed and implemented in the best way possible whilst observing local laws and in line with global policies.

In this role you will provide fundamental contributions to IFS culture and staffing. You will strive for excellence and support the business in delivering people-related processes, vision, and strategy. Driving alignment in support of the wider HR strategy to support business goals.

The Benelux based team consists out of employees who work for the local organisation as well as the region or global functions.

Tasks include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers across a range of ER issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business 
  • Lead the WoC (ondernemingsraad) on all HR-M&A and organizational subjects
  • Support HR coordinator with RI&E, health and Safety (Arbo) and handle complex cases
  • Work with the Benelux leadership team to define a highly business-focused HR plan, translating the outputs into operational actions  
    • Support integration of M&A activities when applicable in the Benelux (TUPE act)
  • Build effective relationships with the managers, demonstrating the business value that can be added by the HR function  
  • Update Benelux organisation on quarterly bases during All Hands gatherings  
  • Initiate, support, coordinate events  ( examples: IWD, new joiners breakfast, All Hands, Christmas Brunch
  • Lead HR related internal communication for the Benelux   
  • Encourage the integration of HR best practices into working practices and business planning  
  • Drive employee engagement including championing the engagement survey, and ensuring the feedback is turned into tangible actions within our  business
  • Ensure HR policies, processes, and procedures are implemented to the required standard across the business  
  • Support the learning, training, and development agenda
  • Undertake talent and succession planning reviews, work together with the leadership to build high performing teams
  • Support the salary and bonus review processes  
  • Analyse trends and metrics with the HR department  
  • Act as a general point of contact for Managers and Employees for all HR related queries  
  • Work with the leadership on strategic workforce planning  

Qualifications

Professional / Technical Skills and Experience 
  Minimum of 5 year experience as a HR Generalist or HR BP in a global, matrix environment   Well suited to work for a company with high growth in a dynamic and entrepreneurial    environment

Additional Information

IFS offers a hybrid working model, however, for this role we would like you to work from the office for at least 2 days per week.
