Job Description
The IFS payroll process is outsourced to a global company, CloudPay, and currently includes 33 payrolls in 23 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring and coaching the Payroll Executives and Payroll Support Teams within the Global Payroll Team based in Sri Lanka. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the processing and approval of payrolls are completed in an accurate and timeous manner. You will be required to work closely with key stakeholders across the business including
HRSSC, HRIS, Finance, and internal/ external audit.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Over-sight of the payroll regions assigned to you
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Global Payroll Manager, Executives & Support Team and their peers in global HR teams as well as CloudPay officials and subordinates
- Conduct regular reviews with the HRSSC team and CloudPay counterparts.
- Be the escalation point for all Payroll queries within your region
- Investigate, reconcile, and correct payroll data issues, discrepancies and errors
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of on-demand checks for terminations, retro-adjustments and other disbursements determined to be necessary for immediate distribution
- Management of the Nordic pension & insurance administration
- Management of social security reporting with external service providers
- Management of the Swedish benefit platform “Benify”
- SCB statistic reporting
- Management of the Nordic expenses
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- Payroll Professional Certified - CIPP/IPASS/APA or equivalent.
- Working in Nordic payrolls is essential, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience,
- EMEA experience an advantage
- CloudPay/ADP/other systems
