Job Description

Work as part of the Product Marketing team to develop positioning, value propositions, content, and messaging (including tools and associated sales enablement) for the assigned area of responsibility with outputs firmly aligned with a cohesive IFS value proposition. This position is open to 100% remote candidates in the US. 

Senior Product Marketing Manager for the ERP product area with some responsibilities for our AI technology and alignment to specific industries.

  • Define your product marketing initiatives and plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive campaign plans and assets, event content, communication content and enablement
  • Product positioning and messaging; collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to create messages and differentiated stories
    • Articulate the trends and customer problems with industry context and how IFS solves them; define how this differentiates IFS from the competition.
  • Competitive landscape; understand the competitors for your product areas and how we differentiate working with the competitive intelligence team
  • Audience frameworks: Identify audiences and personas. Create, maintain and use personas to develop targeted content and talking points
  • Content: Create relevant content for use by Marketing Teams, Corporate Communications, and Customer-facing teams
    • Understand customer and buyer journeys and match content to journeys
  • Develop compelling thought leadership without providing a product pitch. Engage with resources in the business to help deliver.
  • Activities relating to product releases and key announcements
  • Sales enablement: ensure that salespeople understand the value proposition and can articulate this, understand the buyers’ personas, and equip them with the latest competitive information, industry and analyst reports.
  • Work with the Analyst Relations team on analysts’ briefings, help build out message content and positioning into annual analysts’ reports.
  • Coordinate and communicate on a regular cadence with other marketing teams.
  • Represent and serve as a spokesperson for your assigned area
  • Develop relationships with customers and partners to deliver relevant messaging and content.

Principal collaboration areas:

  • Product Management: Close collaboration on release and core product areas
  • Central Marketing:  campaign and event planning, messaging and content
  • Sales and BDRs: Messaging, content and training required for ADRs and BDRs to reach out to customers and prospects.
  • Partner Marketing: Provide the required messaging, content, and training to position and sell the product.
  • Communications Team: through thought leadership and review of content provided.
  • Analyst Relations Team: analyst engagement, report submission and enablement
  • Added Value Services: stay informed on the value delivered, customers involved and new additions to the portfolio.
  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, R&D, sales, our partners) as required and in the delivery of the asset.

Qualifications

 

Essential:

  • Min. 5 years’ proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Manager, or similar role in B2B software/technology in a global environment.
  • Strong ability to copywrite and provide a concise written communication
  • Experience presenting to external audiences through various settings (e.g., events, webinars, customer user groups, etc.).
  • Experience in creating value-outcome-based messaging
  • A strong understanding of product marketing tactics

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in defining GTM strategies and market analysis/research.
  • Comfortable working with agencies and creative teams to develop assets such as videos and collateral.
  • Degree-educated in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field or equivalent work experience
