IFS Human Capital Management (HCM) manages the full employee lifecycle, from hire to retire. As an integral part of the IFS Cloud solution, IFS HCM provides a comprehensive toolkit supporting a wide range of HCM processes from different perspectives and roles throughout the entire global enterprise.

As a Software Engineer, you will have the responsibility to design, develop and maintain software included in IFS Products. The role is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Stability, performance, maintainability, usability and security are key aspects of this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full R&D lifecycle of our products including technical design, development, testing, bug fixing, documentation and 3rd line support.
• Produce clear high-level design documentation for new features or enhancements and accurate development estimates.
• Write robust high-quality documented code adhering to appropriate coding practices.
• Participate in peer design and code reviews.
• Technically test, debug, review and maintain software to ensure quality and stability of the code.
• Collaborate with & proactively share knowledge, guide and train colleagues.
• Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services and processes by actively engaging with colleagues, requirement owners & other stakeholders.

Required Competence, Technical Skills & Expertise  

•  Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology with relevant experience where applicable.
•  Experience in Designing and developing REST endpoints.
•  Build integrations to IFS Cloud using REST APIs and Angular.
•  Integrate existing applications to IFS Cloud.
•  Solid SQL, Oracle PL/SQL Skills.
•  Sound knowledge in Query Optimization in Oracle.
•  Passionate about developing mobile apps using IFS Aurena Native.
