Job Description

Do you have a profound interest in how systems can support business processes? Are you intrigued by supply chain management? Do you crave to understand customer's business objectives and their end-to-end processes?

IFS’s Global Consulting Services (GCS) Organization is on the lookout for a proactive and experienced individual to join our team as a Consultant in the area of supply chain. In this position you will be part of the IFS Nordics Functional Hub team and have colleagues across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

You will be working with our ERP standard software IFS Applications™ and bridging the gap between the customer’s business requirements and the application. You will consult, challenge and advise our customers on how to best utilize IFS’ solutions in relation to their business requirements. In practice this means:

  • Rolling up your sleeves and digging in, seeking to understand customer business requirements and creatively translate them to system requirements.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and sharing your expertise to your colleagues and customers.
  • Developing solution concepts, optimizing and implementing end-to-end processes and functionalities based on best practice approaches.
  • Conducting customer training sessions and workshops.
  • Guiding and assisting the customer with testing and Go Live cut-over strategies.
  • Thriving in an environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing conditions.

Qualifications

The following elements will be essential for you in order to be successful in this role:

  • Expertise in supply chain processes such as inventory, purchasing and sales
  • Working experience with ERP and/or CRM systems (e.g. end-user, superuser)
  • 3+ years of experience in IT projects for the implementation/upgrade of systems/applications  OR  Experience in IT projects for the implementation/upgrade of systems/applications is a PLUS for us - but not a must!
  • Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages and English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • An academic background with a bachelor or master’s degree in e.g. Engineering, Business or IT.
  • Commercial focus, consultative mindset, good interpersonal skills, a will to learn and develop and a “can-do” attitude.

This opportunity is a full-time permanent position reporting to a Functional Hub Resource Manager in Finland. The office site is Asker.
