Job Description

As a Solution Architect Pre-Sales - FSM, your primary responsibility will be to deliver solution and technical support throughout the entire sales cycle for our FSM solution to the sales teams, prospects and existing clients. Some of the largest and most complex Enterprise solutions in the region will require a broad technical skillset and excellent business acumen. You will participate in sales cycles as a lead member of the account team in support of the sales account strategy.

  • Support the sales team with technical aspects of the IFS sales processes
  • Interact with prospective customers through meetings, discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, presentations and follow-up discussions. A key focus of the Pre-sales specialist is to gain acceptance from the customer that the IFS solution achieves the required business outcomes and delivers superior value.
  • Compose and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customer audiences. The presentations will articulate the IFS capabilities/value and leave a strong and positive impression on the audience.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with customer to build relationships and understand their required business outcomes.
  • Analyze customer requirements and map IFS solutions.
  • Support RFP completion in support of customer proposals.
  • Lead Pre-sales activities, working directly with Account Executives to support successful customer presentations and demonstrations.
  • Support sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely, including public speaking at events in the region.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and associated execution plans.
  • Develop close relationships with Account Executives in order to execute effective sales activities.
  • Enable and assist the sales team and partners to deliver the best possible solution.
  • Develop and deliver Proofs of Concept to IFS prospect organizations.
  • Solution prototyping, delivery and presentation.
  • Miscellaneous technical tasks as need arises.

Qualifications

 

  • Relevant outside sales and new business development experience based on complex software sales in Field Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of field service, workforce scheduling, warranty, reverse logistics and mobile solutions, including mobile workforce management.
  • Ideally you will have experience in a competitive/associated market to IFS and can align with IFS’s strategic objectives.
  • Ability to communicate with and effectively persuade C-level decision makers, and quickly articulate IFS’ value proposition.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with solution experts
  • Demonstrate the ability to resolve complex technical issues and create solutions
  • Possess a consultative mind-set with a holistic view of solutions and understand the importance of identifying opportunities
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Business/native proficiency in English and Dutch
  • French would be a plus
