As a Software designer at IFS you design, develop and maintain the IFS Cloud software. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose, enterprise grade software. Business value for global customers, usability and solution consistency are key aspects in this work.

We are looking for a Software Designer to join one of our experienced teams, distributed across Sweden, Sri Lanka and Germany. The self-organized teams are working according to agile principles based on SCRUM.

Examples of work tasks are:

·     Functional and technical design of ERP system based on business requirements and strategic direction

·     Involvement in quality assurance activities such as manual and automated testing, review and maintenance of existing solutions

·     Create documentation, presentation and training material

·     Engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders

·     Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues

Qualifications

We believe the following characteristics are valuable for you to be successful in the role:

·     Domain knowledge in the Supply Chain area

.     Relevant academic degree

·     Experience in software design/development

·     Experience with IFS Applications or another ERP system

·     Good communication and presentation skills

·     Have an understanding of what constitutes an effective user experience
