This role is to develop and maintain a specific subset of scope tool Methods and/ or Tools the services organisation requires to deliver the services in a standardized way. This approach will ensure that service delivery is cost efficient and of high quality to ensure customer success

The main objective is to develop and maintain scope tool solution services which are relevant to improving the service delivery capabilities. The focus is on a standardized approach because that increases quality and will reduce the cost of failure. Quality assurance needs to be built into all scope tool capabilities.
The Scope Tool Architect will be part of a team that drives innovation in this area, making suggestions and proposals for integrated frameworks and platforms where customers, partners and IFS can seamlessly work together.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNABILITIES
• Ensuring our scope tool and supporting methodologies are up to date and fit for a selected subset of portfolio elements
• Introducing new practices and processes to the scope tool framework of to drive better project deliveries
• Identifying new opportunities to develop new Service solutions to release to market
• Actively incorporating new efficiencies into the standard scope tool portfolio e.g., Industry Accelerators
• Close collaboration with all other stakeholders for knowledge management within the global services community
• Delivering scope tool updates according to product updates
• Identifying areas of standardization for service delivery and drive it forward in close collaboration with the Head of Methods and Tools
• Strong collaboration with the IFS Academy in providing content and training material on scope tool methods and tools
• Act as a driver for innovation in terms of improved ways of working in GCS
• Living the IFS values by example
OVERALL REQUIRED COMPETENCE 
• Proficient on modern software development/engineering approaches like SCRUM, Kanban, Lean Management
• Very good understanding of IFS software applications and system architecture
• Deep technical and or functional expertise on IFS products
• Passion for creating a strong customer satisfaction with a clear user experience viewpoint
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
