Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Managing Consultant to revise our global project management processes, manage the US and Canadian (NA) consulting team and manage the customer projects in the same geography. You will work closely with our technical pre-sales and sales teams along with also working directly with our clients. You will be responsible for the scoping, management, and delivery of NA customer solutions for Enterprise, IT Software Management and Operation Management Systems in line with business and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strategic alignment of the NA consulting team with overall business goals and functional objectives
  • Revise, maintain and deliver the ESM Professional Services (PS) project methodology to be used world wide. Manage the NA customer projects to the agreed methodology.
  • Work with the NA sales and technical pre-sales teams to scope new projects, support new sales efforts and ensure Statements of Work and required PS documentation is completed during the sales cycle.
  • Manage the NA team delivery utilization, bookings and revenue to the agreed regional targets.
  • HR line management of the consulting team in US, Canada and Latin America.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Solid background in the ESM/ITSM field with strong knowledge of assigned market (or associated work experience).
  • 3 + years previous experience working in a managing consultant role for a software company
  • Adept at multi-tasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly motivated, organized, energetic and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience providing & delivering ESM / ITSM projects to customers (excellent facilitation skills) 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with other departments within IFS including global team members
  • Experienced line manager

Desirable:

  • ITIL qualification to at least practitioner

  • Experience of delivering projects in different cultures and in a global setting.

  • Experience of devising innovative training content through a variety of media.

Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management
