Job Description

IFS is seeking an implementation consultant with relevant skills and experience, to implement the assyst product.

The assyst Implementation Consultant is a key team member responsible for delivering successful ITSM and ESM implementation engagements. While the core of most projects is an ITIL® based ITSM solution featuring our fully integrated assyst application many projects extend into the ESM space enabling HR, Finance and other parts of the enterprise to effectively manage their requests. Leading both global and domestic projects, the successful candidate is accountable for customer satisfaction reflected through the quality of the implementation and the overall customer experience.  For most engagements the assyst Implementation Consultant is the Lead Consultant on the project.

Job Responsibilities

·     Hands-on project delivery, including customer and project management. For larger projects there will also be a project manager.

·     Facilitating and documenting design workshops.   This includes providing best practice advice and guidance to the customer on the best way to configure assyst to support their business goals.

·     Working with the customer to build their assyst system.   This includes assistance with data gathering/loading,   knowledge transfer and ongoing best practice guidance.

·     Supporting clients in testing of the system and adjusting the system based on the test results.

·     Creating customer process and system documentation if in scope

·     Coordinating the work of other Axios consultants (technical consultants or trainers) when required

·     Providing user training for some engagements

·     On a typical project the work effort is roughly 50% workshops and design and 50% hands on configuration and customer guidance

Qualifications

Industry Qualifications

·     Computing degree (BSc, MSc), or equivalent programming/system design experience

·     5+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry with Enterprise level applications such as assyst, ServiceNow, Ivanti, Cherwell, Ivanti and BMC Remedy.

·     Current ITIL® Foundations Certification at a minimum,

·     Advance ITIL® certification a definite plus

·     Prior administrative or implementation experience with Enterprise ITSM application

Additional Information

Required Skills

·     Proven experience leading, facilitating, and documenting design workshops, remotely and in person

·     Excellent written and presentation communications skills

·     Strong documentation skills

·     Strong data manipulation and Microsoft Excel skills

·     Proven track record of successful projects (on time within budget), with references

·     Practical experience with relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle

·     Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight timescales

·     Ability to take a methodical approach to activities such as system analysis and data structuring
