The Global Bid Response Writer will play a key role in supporting the regional bid teams and bid managers in preparing customer proposals. A vital part of this role is to create clear messaging and positioning of the IFS solution for each key bid, and for this positioning to be the theme and corner stone for all parts of the overall response. Other members of the bid response team will follow this theme to ensure the rest of the proposal underpins and validates those messages and provides “one voice” to the reader of the completed proposal.

In many cases bid management will be provided by a local or regional teams. Where this is not available locally, the Bid Response Writer may provide bid management support for selected key deals.

The role will require working across multiple time zones, working with sales, pre-sales and IFS partners, and building a support network of subject matter experts for specialist knowledge such as cloud hosting, security, HR, legal etc.

Essential:

·       Experience of a similar creative writing role within a high-pressure environment

·       Experience of working globally or within flexible hours when required

·       A literature-based qualification to at least degree level

·       Bid management experience

Desirable:

·       Experience of a similar role in a software company

·       A second language would be an advantage
