As a Lead/Senior Front-end Software Engineer, you will be attached to Aviation & Defense team which provides solutions for Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing, Commercial Aviation, Defense, Fleet and Asset Management, Military Logistics and Services and Performance-based Logistics.​

We develop a suite of SaaS products using frontend technologies like React and leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy our fully containerized microservice architecture to scale.

A Senior Software Engineer is expected to consistently develop high-quality software solutions by:

·        Analyzing and interpreting the requirements to fulfill the domain needs.

·        Applying best engineering and architectural concepts. 

·        Ensuring product performance and maintainability by adhering to IFS’ standards, guidelines, processes, and tools.

·        Performing comprehensive testing.

·        Proactively Sharing knowledge, guiding, and training colleagues

·        Actively participating in communication with stakeholders to ensure the solution is fit for purpose. 

·        Creating documentation, presentation, and training material.

·        Analyzing/scoping and leading development of new features.  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Previous working experience with Enterprise-grade or SaaS software
• Strong knowledge of OOP and modern software patterns.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with TDD in Frontend development is an added advantage.
• Experience with DevOps is an added advantage.
• Experience with AngularJS is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in AWS platform is an added advantage.
• Experience with Microservices architectures is an added advantage.
