The mission of IFS Supply Chain is to provide embedded end-to-end logistic processes in IFS Cloud for customers in our focused industries, enabling cutting edge user experience on one single platform.

A Software Engineer at IFS designs, develops and maintains software included in IFS Cloud. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Business value, usability, maintainability, security and performance are key aspects of this work.

We are looking for Software Engineers to join our team distributed across Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Norway. As a Software Engineer in our team, you will play a key role in making sure we deliver on time and stay true to our mission.

The work will involve activities like:

• Design and develop fit for purpose software based on customer requirements and strategic direction
• Apply the right engineering and architectural concepts
• Perform comprehensive testing
• Actively participating in communication with stakeholders to ensure the solution is fit for purpose
• Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues
• Contribute to activities related to product/program management

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
• Strong knowledge in database concepts and techniques
• Knowledge in quality assurance, software security and performance
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Previous working experience with enterprise-grade software and/or domain knowledge of Supply Chain processes is a definite advantage.
