As a Software Engineer you will have the responsibility to design, develop and maintain software included in IFS Cloud. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Business value, usability, maintainability, security and performance are key aspects of this work.

The work will involve activities like:

• Design and develop fit for purpose software based on customer requirements and strategic direction
• Apply the right engineering and architectural concepts
• Perform comprehensive testing
• Actively participate in communication with stakeholders to ensure the solution is fit for purpose
• Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues
• Produce relevant documentation, presentation and training materials
• Contribute to activities related to product/program management

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
• Previous working experience with developing enterprise-grade software and/or domain knowledge of Manufacturing processes is a definite advantage
• Knowledge in database concepts and techniques
• Knowledge in quality assurance, software security and performance
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in distributed global team set up
