We're on the look out for dynamic, experienced tech enthusiasts to join our growing R&D - Development & Extensibility team. 

As a Software Engineer in Development & Extensibility Team, you will have the responsibility to design and develop the technology platform which is used by application developers within IFS R&D, IFS Consulting and IFS partners to develop, extend and maintain our enterprise software suite, IFS Cloud.

As a software engineer on our team, you will

• Design, Architect core technology platform
• Evaluate and select technologies fit for the purpose
• Keep product security, performance and scalability at the center of development
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and automations
• Support, collaborate and mentor a talented team of engineers
• Promote lean & agile software development practices
• Create documentation, presentations and training material
• Be a strong team player, self-driven, able to learn new technologies 
• Engage with requirement owners and other stakeholders across the globe

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology along with 3+ years' experience with a track record in working with Enterprise Grade Software.
• High level of expertise in the Java programming language
  • Experience with open source projects will be an added advantage
• Experience with developing and integrating with REST APIs
• Experience in building Microservices using Docker, Kubernetes and Azure/Amazon services
• Good understanding of SQL and Relational Databases
• A natural desire to discover and learn new technologies and new engineering practices
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
