CRM, short for Customer Relationship Management, is an approach to managing a company's interaction with current and potential customers. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Software Engineer who is looking to be part of a diverse and highly skilled team.

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for automation, designing, building and maintaining test strategy for the CRM product.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Identify key KPIs for product quality
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Provide 3rd line technical support
• Participate in peer design and code reviews
• Share knowledge, guide and train colleagues
• Assess risks
• Be an active member of the team
• Contribute to improvements in IFS products, services and processes

Overall Required Competence

To be a successful QA Software Engineer at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but we would prefer you to have a relevant academic degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) preferably in software engineering.

The ideal candidate will be able to provide evidence of the following qualities and characteristics:

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Proven work experience in software development
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
