Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented analyst to join our team as the Sales Operations Analyst. This position will report directly to our Marketing and Sales Operations Manager and will be responsible for supporting sales in building deals and recording them (especially on deals with complex contracts and billing processes).

The Sales Operations Analyst will work closely with account executives and customer success managers to identify deals with complex pricing, product configuration, and billing requirements. Once identified, the analyst will ensure the deal-specific requirements are documented and appropriately loaded into enterprise systems.

The Sales Operations Analyst must have the aptitude to understand complex technology products and pricing models as well as the passion to master details of specific customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with building quotes to assure accuracy and adherence to our pricing and billing models.
  • Communicate the details of customer-specific billing arrangements to the accounting organization.
  • Validate opportunity data for accuracy in CRM before it is passed to ERP.
  • Monitor data quality to identify any billing issues or data entry issues.
  • Training sales team on quote creation, contract creation, and data entry to ensure accurate billing.
  • Prepare monthly reports for sales commissions
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for company leadership
  • Assist with sales tech stack administration (Salesforce, Outreach.io, etc.)

 

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant Sales Operations experience
  • Salesforce power user (experience with CPQ a plus)
  • Must live in the DC area
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Metabase/SQL experience a plus
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Experience at a fast-paced startup a plus
