Job Description

IDIQ offers premier services in Voluntary Employee Benefits and is looking to expand in the markets of multiple regions within the United States. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing of new regions, building and securing new B2B relationships and increasing IDIQ awareness in the Employee Benefits space.  The Regional Sales Manager will be charged with building long-term relationships with brokers and employers to expand the distribution of IDIQ’s Voluntary Employee Benefit products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, secure, and maintain Key Employer and Broker Relationships in a new region.
  • Build the IDIQ Employee Benefits Brand – maintaining a strong, visible presence in the assigned region and across the United States.
  • Generate, nurture and close on Employee Benefit leads through employers or brokers.
  • Achieve targeted KPI’s and results as measured.
  • Attend trade show conferences and ability to professionally network and present to an audience, both virtually and in-person as needed.
  • Experience with a sales CRM to input and update sales results.
  • Develop a market strategy and plan to deliver targeted results for the assigned region.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Deliver Zoom/Teams meetings with prospects using a consultative sales approach.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to continually create, assess, market and evolve sales plans, and strategies in order to meet key objectives or goals.
  • Travel to meet with targeted clients and attend meetings as required.
  • Flexibility to attend open enrollments and benefit fares as needed.
  • Produce within and beyond the assigned territory and deliver sales results that consistently exceed growth objectives of the IDIQ Employee Benefits.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum of five years of Employment Benefit Sales experience as a wholesaler and/or broker required.
  • At least ten (10) years of sales experience 
  • Works collaboratively with team members
  • Strong working ability of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills     

Preferred Skill and Experience

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to evaluate structure and expand potential and existing deals.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Ownership & Drive— ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong follow-through and a focus on owning the outcome.
  • Influential and Persuasive - seen as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven ability to clearly define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.

Additional Information

Position Details:

This is a full-time, salaried position (40+ hours/week). 

Pay: The pay range for this position is a minimum of $95,000 to a maximum of $125,000 based on a full-time schedule.  The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.  This position is commission eligible.
