IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our customer in Austin, TX. This is an ONSITE position.  - Effectively translate business requirements and use cases into comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on an iterative development approach.

- Develop and execute system test scripts, conditions, cases, and jobs.

- Participate in SDLC Phase reviews.

- Develop and maintain QA policies, procedures and methodology for system test planning, development and execution. 

- Develop automated regression scripts and ensure Regression testing is planned and executed appropriately.

- Track/document and work to resolve all complex problems, defects or issues. 

- Plan, manage and provide system test status on Application Support and Development Releases. 

- Perform other duties as assigned. 

- 5+ years experience in QA Testing. 

- Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. 

- Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Agile development methodologies.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams.

- Strong understanding of quality assurance and system test tools/processes. 

- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with business analysis, system design, and application development. 

- Excellent organizational skills are required in order to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.

- Exceptional customer service orientation skills.

- Experience with Microsoft .Net and Oracle development.

- Good experience in HP Quality Center.

- Basic database and SQL concepts knowledge.

- Familiarity with version control standards and tools.

- Excellent Communication skills.

- Any experience testing web applications using HP QTP or Selenium would be a huge plus.
