Job Description

Sr. Data Architect is responsible for ensuring that the data assets of an organization are supported by a data architecture that aids the organization in achieving its strategic goals.  The data architecture should cover databases, data integration and the means to get to the data.  The Sr. Data Architect will achieve his/her goals via setting enterprise data standards.  
-The Sr. Data Architect is the one responsible for developing and maintaining a formal description of the data and data structures - this can include data definitions, data models, data flow diagrams, etc. (in short metadata).  Data architecture to includeD metadata management, business semantics, data modeling and metadata workflow management.
-The Sr. Data Architect will set up a metadata registry and allows domain-specific stakeholders to maintain their own data elements. 

Qualifications


Data Warehousing,  ETL, Business Intelligence, or data management. Experience, working knowledge of, or certification in DW, ETL, BI, or data management preferred.

-MS Project - Advanced - 3 yrs exp

-MS Office - Advanced - 3 yrs exp

-Visio - Intermediate - 3 yrs exp

-Windows 7 - Intermediate - 3 yrs exp
