IDEALFORCE has a Contract-To-Hire position available immediately for a SQL Server DBA to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona This is an ONSITE position and only LOCAL CANDIDATES are considered. Job Description
-Perform design, analysis, planning, implementation and maintenance of database systems involving simple to complex structures.
-Support development of both guidelines and standards access methods, security and performance monitoring.
-Make decisions with regard to the necessity, scheduling and execution of database administration tasks, and to provide customer assistance and database problem resolution.
-Provide functional database designs ready for use by application developers, a functional database environment, and report utilized in monitoring the performance of said environments.
-Assist with problem resolutions for database related issues and consulting expertise for database related issues which should facilitate customer solutions.
Qualifications
- 5 plus years of non-academic experience managing multiple Microsoft SQL Server database management systems, and systems integration
- 5 plus years of experience in performance measurement and tuning methods of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Thorough working knowledge of database system concepts and design methods.
- Thorough working knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of system specifications, standards, applications programming and database technology.
- Experience working with data warehouse/data marts
- Experience in designing and development of new and existing Business Intelligence solutions
- Experience in build and release activities
- Experience designing, implementing, administration and support of for Microsoft servers in clustered environments
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
