Job Description

Join a dynamic marketing team and help bring IDB’s brand to the next level. As a Marketing and Events Specialist at our bank, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals while making a meaningful impact in the industry. This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with the marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing marketing activities, including events, sponsorship opportunities, internal communications, client email campaigns, and website updates.
  • Plan and execute a variety of events, from small engagements to large-scale partnerships, sponsorships, internal engagements, and annual large client events.
  • Manage both external and internal event logistics, including venue selection, onsite technology and operations, ensuring seamless execution of all relevant event tasks.
  • Provide support in the creation of external marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional collateral.
  • Utilize email marketing platforms to schedule targeted communications, monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and implement best practices to optimize future campaigns.
  • Update and maintain the bank’s website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.

 

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
    • 3-7 years of experience in marketing or related roles.
    • Energetic and proactive individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience in financial services or banking industry is a plus.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
    • Basic understanding of SalesForce or CRM tools
    • Basic knowledge of desktop publishing and editing tools (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Canva)
    • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (SalesForce Marketing Cloud, or similar) and CRM systems.
    • Proficiency in website content management systems (SiteCore, WordPress, or similar) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
    • Experience with Project Management tools (Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar)

    Compensation:

    The expected annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $130000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
