Job Description
Perform ongoing financial analysis with high accuracy in a fast paced environment to include spreading of both historical and projected financial statements, aging of accounts receivable, financial summaries, borrowing base tracking and compilation of borrower information from various internal systems in support of the lending function
Research credit worthiness using resources such as Dun and Bradstreet reports for agings of accounts receivable
Mentor and develop junior analysts to increase level of knowledge and improve quality of output.
Investigate and resolve account officer inquiries and requested revisions. Implement best practices and process improvement where appropriate
Provide back-up for monthly and quarterly reporting consisting of pledging to the FRB and FHLB for the commercial and real estate portfolios including assessment of eligibility, calculations based on property and loan data and regular information updates; loan reconciliations; industry concentrations and unused commitments as needed
Ensure that all work processed meets audit and compliance requirements
Participate in department projects and initiatives as required
Assist in testing and implementation of system enhancements as required
Prepare and circulate departmental reports as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a commercial credit evaluation environment
BS degree in Accounting / Finance or business related field
Working knowledge of commercial credit systems as well as corporate financial systems (i.e., Loans and Deposit Balances, Collateral & Doc Tracking)
Excellent research and analytical capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort working with and supporting the Business Units
Proficient in MS Office and other productivity software tools with a minimum intermediate level knowledge of Excel including aptitude working with large data pools. Knowledge of Moody’s Risk Analyst financial statement spreading software is a plus
Experience in developing junior analysts is a plus
Familiarity with legal documentation is a plus
